Ukweli Video Productions was founded in May 1981 as one of the first Christian professional video centers in Africa and is located in the Westlands area, Church road,Nairobi, Kenya. It is a well established production house with state-of - the-art equipment, competent professional staff ( Directors, Producers, Editors, Cameramen Technicians and Adminstration) and vast experience in the field of Video production. Ukweli Video focuses on remaining aggresive and committed to professional and excellent service delivery in a highly competitive Kenya today.

The centre produces high quality broadcast programmes which deal with Social and Development issues, Pastoral concerns, Traditional and Family values.

Since its inception, Ukweli Video Productions has been able to produce over two hundred and sixty five (265) video programmes addressing Social, Spiritual and Developmental Issues. Many of the videos have been shown in different parts of the world through Cable News Network (CNN) and British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and other local and regional Television networks – KTN, NTV, KBC and Citizen TV.

Ukweli Video Productions has recorded in several African countries including: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Uganda, Zambia, Rwanda, Burundi and Zimbabwe. We are able to go to any country if our services are needed provided proper travel arrangements are priorly discussed. We do promotional and commercial productions on request on events like conferences, drama, anniversaries and musicals. We are able to handle live multiple cameras recording via vision mixer with our superb digital multi-channels effects switcher. Our prices are very competitive with other professional video companies in Nairobi and in Africa.

Ukweli Video Productions undertakes video production from concept to the final transmission copy including a video graphic cover. Our latest venture is to master programmes in both VCD and DVD formats. We have the latest state-of-the-art equipment with three fully digitised editing suites and numerous professional broadcast-quality DVcameras.

We dissseminate programmes through churches, non-government organizations, learning institutions, government ministries, parastatals, private companies, local and regional media broadcasting houses. We collaborate with local and International partners in developing and producing effective educational programmes. Most of our videos are used as teaching and counselling aids in schools, universities, churches and many non-government organizations.

Our Videos are found in major libraries of the world and leading learning institutions e.g Harvard University,Ohio University, Library of Congress(USA),Maryknoll Society Library,Tangaza college Kenya,Nairobi University,Moi University,Maseno University,Strathmore University and Catholic University of Eastern Africa.(CUEA)

We do not only record and produce, but also duplicate and do video conversions to any format : PAL, NTSC, SECAM etc. We master programmes on DVD, VCD, VHS, DVCAM, BETACAM and DV formats.
