day with a good nourishing breakfast and enjoys the presence of
loving parents. But in the streets of many urban centres, it is
a different story. On average the streets of Kenya are hosting over
250,000 children.The project of Ukweli Home of Hope is very much
a family, where the boys learn to live a normal life under adult
supervision. To-date they have two main programmes: a drop-in centre
which currently caters for at least 100 boys on a day to day basis
and a home providing shelter to 20 boys.
